Jaipur, 23 August: Acclaimed author, Vikas Swarup, known for his bestselling novel "Q & A", today engaged in a thought-provoking conversation with students at Jayshree Periwal International School (JPIS). He was in conversation with Academic Director of JPIS, Aakriti Periwal and students, Siya Gupta and Saachi Sood. The discussion was centered around his latest novel, "The Girl with the Seven Lives".
During the session, Swarup emphasised the importance of authenticity and thorough research in writing, as well as the need to immerse oneself in the emotions and thoughts of characters to understand their perspectives. He drew upon his experiences as a High Commissioner and Ambassador to various countries, highlighting the value of adaptability in different situations.
The author's most inspiring message was that anyone can become a writer, and that it is not an innate talent. He shared valuable tips and insights into his writing process, including how he crafts the blueprint of his novels to keep readers engaged and surprised until the very end.
